Punjab (PK)

La palma da dattero non è un attivita economica significativa nel Punjab. Le piantagioni commerciali sono situate più a sud nel Sindh. Partecipa piuttosto da un sistemo agro-silvo-pastorale integrata che mantiene una elevata diversità genetica, compresa l'introduzione di varietà di origini diverse, e la moltiplicazione per seme.
